Who Is Hannah Naomi Jones?

Hannah Naomi Jones is a TEDx Speaker and inspirational person with a tenacious zeal for social impact and on a mission to change the world.

In her lifetime Hannah Naomi has been called upon to design and ideate effective solutions, strategies, programs, campaigns, brands and stories around problem solving for social good, issue advocacy, justice, equity, faith and the arts.

Through her ability to see the authenticity and best parts of anything she brings to life ideas, narratives, organizations and brands and ensures those best parts captivate, transform and influence minds, hearts and decisions. Her unique gift of seeing solutions with ideas and turning them into action artistically, philosophically and logistically, using the psychology of color, film and media, writing, and technology to reach people is her calling card.

Her core values that are unchanging, emerge from her defined purpose, shaped by her personal, institutional and societal experiences, with systemic racism, inequity, power and privilege, fuels her commitment to helping improve and bring to life people, ideas and organizations to make and measure a social impact.

As a community organizer she has organized marches, rallies, meetings, tasks force, committees, brokered partnerships, initiatives, programs and events around ending gun violence and community violence, public health, education, faith-based, and the arts, influencing practice, policy and healing through racial equity, racial reconciliation, pay equity, education equity, food insecurity, environmental justice, disrupting performative DEIA and crystallizing meaningful solutions work.

Hannah’s enthusiasm is contagious and convinces people to believe – a key ingredient to her ability to bridge people and the community. Her belief in the potential of people is unwavering as she believes that for every problem in this world there is someone designed to solve it.

As a strategist who leads through a justice and equity lens, she brings a unique problem solving approach, architecting and improving systems, culture and people, driving change through community organizing and issue advocacy, impacting and influencing policy, practice, education, health, media and government.

Faced with any given scenario, she is known for her natural ability to effectively and uniquely “bring it all together” by quickly spotting relevant patterns and issues and creating alternative ways to proceed, turning thoughts into action.

Her constant craving to know more, ability to collect and interpret stories through data, leverage technology and AI to achieve outcomes, has led to her unique expertise in strategic communication and storytelling.

As a storyteller she shapes perception, controls the narrative and brings an innovative and inventive ability and approach to optimizing her tools, knowledge and experience in leading and curating efforts in media, film, public affairs, digital marketing, strategic communications, public relations and brand experience.

Defining storytelling as the ability to captivate, transform and influence, she wields storytelling to serve as a powerful conduit to amplify voices, improve systems, build new ones and broker and negotiate programs and partnerships to ensure sustainability for a better tomorrow.

After seeing solutions she simply realized these programs, organizations and messages where not being interpreted through storytelling methods that successfully drive brands, campaigns, production, media leading her to play the role as content, creator and graphic designer, creator of campaign language, campaign brand, producer, director, curator, digital marketing, press leader, project manager and all the jobs it takes to get the job to be the solution she designed. Writing scripts, copy, run of shows, designing digital and physical content, hiring and bringing on talent and contractors, videographers and more. Her ability to see all that is needed and step in the gap or find the right talent to fill those caps makes her the glue.

She is the creator of Lead with Me, a movement to empower and mobilize people to walk in their purpose and lead unapologetically.

Hannah is the founder of Lead With Me Impact Strategies, LLC, a strategy, media and communications company that provides marketing, media, branding and program development strategies for anyone who wants to make an impact through their work.

She is the founder and organizer of Lead with Me Racial Equity League 501c3, designed to tell stories of the need for equity and those who are creating it and using those stories to negotiate, educate and advocate for racial equity.

She is the host of the Lead with Me Podcast and designer of Lead with Me Apparel proving a message with intention is a movement with power.

Her TEDx focuses on her Discovering Your Authentic Framework that centers the power of developing identity, unleashing potential, fueling passion and understanding purpose and how to use it to change the world.

Born and raised in Southern California, Hannah worked as a passionate grassroots bridge builder. As a first generation college student, she credits education as her ticket out of intergenerational poverty and out of lack of access and opportunity and worked to connect education to the community.

Hannah has worked in higher education administration for over a decade working for the California Community College System, the California State University (CSU) system, the University of California (UC) system and the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE).

She has led educational equity work developing P-20 student retention and college access framework, methods, programs and tools used today and helped to shape centers and measured the effectiveness of their existence, closing gaps that impede student success. She has led and hosted local and system wide programs, events and initiatives, developing campus wide & community-based partnerships advocating for access of high opportunity youth, serving as an advisor to campus organizations that are transforming how we see students, such as Underground Scholars, an student initiated organization for students who have been impacted by incarceration, championing restorative justice.

Hannah has developed and taught curriculum, initiated and led programs around anti-blackness, cultural competence, power privilege and oppression, presenting in all 5 social systems of power such as education, media, healthcare, law and money with a goal of racial equity and healing.

As a senior consultant in the greater Washington DC area, she elevate organizations, spending much of her time in the community, working closely with government and community officials, small businesses, non profit organizations, church and faith based organizations to advocate for the voiceless and marginalized communities with a goal to eradicate oppressive policy and create equitable and impactful policy through intentional programing, brands and campaigns.

Hannah has worked and met with with local and national policy makers, faith-based leaders, community organizations, higher education institutions and music award winning thought leaders such as Luminus Health Doctors Hospital President, the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of Currency, OCC, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, FDIC, the Federal Communications Commission, FCC, the Office of National Drug Control Policy ONDCP, Nancy Pelosi, 52nd Speaker of the House of Representatives, NAACP, US and local Departments of Education, March On Washington Film Festival, Morehouse College, UCI, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) , Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Karen Bass, Rep. Anthony Brown and various national and local press, radio and news outlets.

Hannah Naomi Jones is a mentor and teacher at heart. She is known as a dynamic speaker and has presented at conferences, leading countless workshops, classes around equity and access, leadership, advocacy, effective program design, marketing, brand building and social impact and has been featured in publications, on podcasts, received awards and recognitions for her community work.

Hannah holds a Bachelors of Arts in Public Administration with a concentration in Political Science and Constitutional Law. Hannah wishes to attend law school focusing on data integrity, tech policy and media.
